Yang Xiu-Lan

Yang Xiu-lan graduated from the Shengyang Conservatory of Music in 1965 and has worked primarily as a music producer, joining Wind Music’s production team as an executive producer in 1990. Yang and her husband Ouyang Qian focus on using traditional concepts to produce fresh, modern interpretations. Yang’s most renowned work, “Ancient Chinese Poem Songs”, has been widely acknowledged as being wonderfully representative of Chinese national folk music.
