Dong Yun-chang

Dong Yun-chang has received “the Best Album of the Performance of Popular Music Award” of the 10th and the14th “Golden Music Award” and was nominated as “the Best Producer of Popular Music” of the 14th “Golden Music Award.” In 1996, Dong released his first personal recital album titled “Hearing the Taste of Blue Mountain.” This album is the first in the history of Chinese music to use a steel string guitar as the performing instrument. In 2001, Dong joined Wind Music and released “The 33rd Turn of Street Corner” and “Happy Way.” Later in 2003, he received “the Best Performance of Popular Music Album” of the 14th “Golden Music Award” for the former album. As an outstanding guitar player, Dong has also participated in several composing and recording activities of popular music. In addition, he has also composed various types of crossover music.
