Silvia

Born in central Taiwan, Silvia was in the music classes at school from elementary school up until finishing her graduate school studies. Using the piano to express her mood, her inspiration and material for composition come from no other source but the diversity of feelings she experiences in everyday life: stories about the love between family members, romantic love, and friendship as well as such things as joy, frustration, helplessness, and warmth. Despite being trained in an academic music environment, her work possesses an unrestrained freedom and brilliance. She is not overly showy in her technique, instead relying on simplicity to express sweetness and fantasy.
