They join together to bring the sounds they cherish from the cultures of England, America and Spain, and produce splendid, sparkling versions of 12 classic Eastern and Western songs. Using a delicate and refined Baroque sound, they reinterpret famous classical and folk compositions from different centuries.
About Peter Zhou,
Taiwan¡¦s first locally cultivated countertenor. In secondary school, as a student of Chen Sizhao, he discovered that his voice was distinct from the typical thick voice of a male tenor, and from that point he began his falsetto singing. At that time, as Taiwan lacked qualified teachers for countertenors, when he was in college he travelled to the Royal Academy of Music in London for advanced studies in falsetto singing. After graduation, he went to the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain to study music history, studying with tenors Charles Brett and Du Xiqiao.
In 2004, Peter Zhou was invited by well-known music critic Cao Yongkun to give a salon concert with Martino You. Subsequently he performed with many different local and foreign musicians, and sang as a soloist at performances by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Academy of Taiwan Strings. In January 2009, he went with the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra to the National Grand Theater in Beijing where he performed as a soloist, becoming the first countertenor to perform at the National Grand Theater. In the past few years, he has formed a singing duo with Martino You and is active in promoting salon concerts, in the hope that in performance venues beyond the traditional ones, he can let even more audiences hear the beauty of falsetto singing.
About Martino You,

In order to improve his singing, he decided to travel all the way to Spain for advanced studies at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he obtained a diploma I vocal work.
