In her third ¡§picture album¡¨ which integrates music, pictures and text, the piano serves as her principle device in presenting an exploration of the inner heart.
With the expression of a truer and richer musical sentiment, explore your truest self and search for your inner child through music. Every adult is entitled to a heart of childlike innocence.
Dreams and The Inner Horse
A few words from the producer, Chen-chen Ho
Search for the animal mentor that resides in your heart and discover the child within you.
I¡¦m very excited to present the third album of the ¡§Innocence of a Child¡¨ trilogy. This album continues the exploration of the innocent child that lives within each of us and has been there since the very beginning. With regards to production, the piano is the principle device used in expressing self-exploration, and it is accompanied by a smaller scale of other instrumental music. The piano part was recorded in an auditorium on a Steinway piano, and the resulting resonant vibrations present a truer and richer sentiment.
Ever since I was young, I¡¦ve always liked all kinds of animals. My dream as a child was to become a vet. Even though I became a musician instead, I haven¡¦t forgotten the emotional impact animals had on my inner growth. Thus, through the medium of music, I express my passion for them. Indeed, the spiritual lives of most people nowadays depend on an animal companion. In the world of animals, we see purity and an abundance of feelings. They are spiritual mentors and inspiration for us humans. In Three Cat Cookies, a cat serves as Guo Guo¡¦s companion and comfort. In An Encounter with the Little Prince, a fox is the wise, inspirational mentor for the Little Prince. As for this album, it¡¦s a horse that allows us to explore our truest selves. In real life, I have three cats and two dogs. My hope is that, whether in real life or in your dreams, you too may find your own ¡§animal mentor¡¨ to help you discover your inner child.
I¡¦d also like to take this opportunity to say this when you¡¦re looking for an animal companion: Adopt animals, don¡¦t abandon them. Moreover, adopt an animal rather than buy one. As for taking care of your animal companion, knowing yourself can help you become a humane and responsible owner. Thank you!
