Musical Poetry¡¦s Spiritual Landscapes
by Peng Jing
His melodies soothe all the sleepless souls on the edges of the city
They invite you to lay down your daily burdens and go on a spiritual journey
Until you meet those people, those things, those landscapes
Peng Jing has been nominated for Golden Melody Awards for Best Composer and Best Producer for Vu Vu's Tales, worked behind the scenes on Days on A Green Hill from the 'Firefly' series, been part of the team of composers for Wind Record's Nature Music series, and serves as the resident composer for the Academy of Taiwan Strings. His compositions are performed all over Asia and Europe. He uses music to tell stories; stories that transcend national borders, cultures, ethnicities and even species. Listen to Peng Jing, inspired by settling in scenic southern Taiwan, tell of spiritual landscapes that evoke a feeling of deja vu in every listener.
