　　This series provides eight CDs and more than one hundred folk songs， local opera songs and music. There are six aboriginal music systems in these series with many provided precious explanative materials and music scores. Besides， the differences between `old tunes` and `new tunes` show interesting cultural shifts through time. The old tunes sung and played by older musicians are characteristic of personal styles， since they as tribal leaders tend to influence and mode the developments of music; the new tunes of younger generation， however， created a new kind of music that reflects different education， cultural identification and interpretation of traditional rituals. It is a large-scale collaboration of scholars from various aspects such as ethnic music， linguistics， anthropology and folk literature.
