About the guitar performer, Jen-chien Lin, Jen-chien is considered as one of the most active guitarists in Taiwan. He has won several prime awards of guitar competitions: Taiwan Area Music Competition, National Guitar Contest in Taiwan, Abel Carlevaro Guitar Competition in Taipei as well as Charles Margesun Memorial Guitar Competition in Arizona. Also Jen-chien Lin has had three years of lessons with some maestros: Abel Carlevaro, Eduardo Fernandez and Eduardo Issac during his residence in Uruguay and Argentina from 1993 to 1996. He performs in Public TV and gives concert trips around Taiwan. On October 2001 he released the CD, River Bank of Sunset, Taiwanese Romanticism songs' guitar solo album that was nominated by 2002 Golden Melody Award of Taiwan.
