A mythology about sea and the earth, an ancient Taiwanese story, and a world music interweave into this unique sensation of Princess Kavalan. As the mythology uses beautiful story and images to explain the natural phenomena of Lan Yang plain, the gifted musician Michel Rochat adopts all kinds of Taiwanese folk songs and tribal music to express romance, humor, suspensions and tension in this musical drama.
