LUO-Bin WANG (1913-), a folk song musician whose life is full of legends, suffered 18 years of bitter life in prison, travelled almost all parts of the northwestern frontier. Mr. Wang has composed and recorded many beautiful folk songs of northwestern minorities in China. Through his efforts, those songs spread all over the country and even influenced the popular music. As Mr. Wang claimed: 'Music is the like of Religion; Love, the belief...', the love of music and people is deep in his heart and brings us the delightfulness through the Chinese lyrics written or translated by him. This album fully presents the sentiments and the joy of living through the romantic singing and the exotic music of northwestern China.
