Of three nights in July, 1977, at Fo Kuang Shan, the musical scholar Prof. Lu Ping-chuan utilized the advanced recording equipment to record a group of monks and nuns singing Buddhist chants in the orthodox 'ocean tide' style. The edifying melodies elicit reverence and joy form the listener.
