Kucheng, a long-history traditional plucking instrument in China. It was invented in around 231 B.C.. Owing to its long history and widely prevalence, the exquisite skillful art of kucheng features not only in its variety and gracefulness, but also its fusing with regional folk music. Master Hong-Yi, one of the 'four famous monks' in the early 20th century, had much contribution to the development of modern Chinese music and quite a few well-known songs. In this album, there're 11 familiar songs rearranged in a spirited way that will bring you the transcendent atmosphere even without the philosophical lyrics originally by Master Hong-Yi.
