Master Xuan-Zang (602-664 A.D.), as one of the four great translators in China, also founded Fa-Hsiag Sect (Dharmalaksana Sect) in Tang dynasty. In order to solve the controversial sayings of different schools, Master Xuan-Zang travelled along to India by going through the desert and Climbing over Himalayan Mountain Ranges. Over 17 years, Master Xuan-Zang brought back with him over 600Sanskrit sutras and had great attribution to Chinese Buddhism. A new page of Chinese Buddhist history thus was written by this respectable Buddhist master. This special released, as one of the series works of Buddhist masters by Wind Records Co., is composed as an orchestral suite which is divided into five movements. Presented by the abundant musicality and the strong dramatic characteristics, 'Master Xuan-Zang' delineates the invincible will and touching story of Master Xuan-Zang truthfully. We also wish to share with all the people worldwide the grandeur of Chinese culture through the series of severe musical productions.
