A Brilliant New Chinese Guzheng Star

In 2006, at North Korea’s International Arts Festival, she won the International Arts Award for Best Solo Instrumentalist.

In 2007, she won Nanjing’s “Ten Most Influential Young People.”

Ren Jie held the first Chinese guzheng solo concert in South Korea, winning nationwide acclaims.

Ren Jie, the first Chinese musician to win a Wenhua Art Academy Award and a Golden Bell Award (both major music awards in China), performs the pieces from those award contests as well as new guzheng compositions. Produced by Wang Sen-di, leading producer and promoter of Chinese music on the world stage, whose String Glamour was the first Chinese instrumental album to win the US-based AFIM (Association for Independent Music) traditional world music award. Recorded in the Nanjing Concert Hall by top international recording engineer Kavichandran Alexander. Together they have produced a feast of Guzheng music.
